Introduction

A new Fujifilm lens is coming with a focal length of 27-206mm(35mm) equivalent. The new lens equipped with a stabilizer claimed 5 stops effective by Fujifilm. Until now Fujifilm lineup mostly consists of prime lenses see the lineup at the bottom of the page. The new lens is a mid-range zoom which enables the user to use most of the time attached to the camera. The f/3.5-5.6 is a usual brightness of such zooms, not really bright especially at the long end. More of a consumer zoom, but there are zooms with this brightness even in a premium sement as the recently reviewed Canon 28-300 L IS USM for example.
