Canon 700d vs 650d comments

-Basically the two cameras has the same sensor
-Even the picture quality of the Canon 650d is better according to Dxomark, the difference is small
-The 700d has all cross-type focus points which is better.

Canon 700d vs 650d is it worth to upgrade?

The question is tricky because it is not really an upgrade. The nine all cross-type autofocus points are welcomed, but if you buy a new camera you pay significantly more, and expect to be better than the older one, especially in picture quality. Usually people buy new cameras for new better quality sensor, and/or lots of extra features, which is not the case here. For example the Canon 70d is an upgrade compare to the older Canon 650D, new better sensor, extra features. According to my opinion is better to spend the money on lenses or anything else, and wait for the Canon 750d if it will be an upgrade or not.
