Canon 1500d release date review specs

Canon 1500d release date is not yet known at the moment (2017 february), but I think it can come either in 2017 or in 2018. We saw some interesting Canon entry level offerings so we wait for the new camera with great anticipation.
The next entry level Canon dslr will be the Canon 1500d in my book. Perhaps I am not right and the Canon 1400d is also coming, but japan manufacturers usually skip the 4 number in camera series.

Canon 1500d specs

Most likely the new Canon 1500d camera will inherit a 24 MP DPAF (Dual pixel auto focus) sensor, but a CMOS sensor is also a possible option. Other specification in the below table is a guess.

Canon 1500d price

The price of the new Canon 1500d is not yet known. Today a 1300d cost 549 USD, so we can assume it will be more expensive than that. The initial price can be somewhere in the 600-800 USD ballpark.
