Canon just announced the new Canon 1DX mark II camera.

The camera expected to be available from April for 6000 USD. The camera has a 20.2 Megapixel 36 x 24mm Full frame sensor. The iso sensitivity can be adjusted between 100-51,200 (409,600 in extended mode).

The camera can record DCI 4K videos at 60 frames per second and HD videos at 120 frames per second. Out of this 4K video it is possible to grab 8.8 megapixel stills images. The camera has 61/41 focus points. The camera has a new 360,000 dots RGB+IR metering sensor.

The camera has a fixed 1.6 Million dots touchscreen.

The camera has a GPS unit as well geotagging the pictures. Wifi is only possible with the optional external adapter.

In burst mode the camera can record 14 frames per second in live view and 12 frames per second in normal mode. The camera has a Dual Digic 6 imaging processor, and the camera has two memory card slots, for CF and a CFast cards. The camera has a Dual pixel live view af system for video and live view still shooting.

The camera has a my menu settings (like in Nikon). The camera weight is 1530g (53.97 oz.) with batteries.
