Dslr Lenses
Dslr cameras

The collection is growing in the future.
How to look the pictures ?
It can be a funny question, and perhaps everybody has his or her interpretation. Today most people looks pictures on LCD monitor. My tip is to look pictures from a little more distance, and to think what the picture shows. This way I can enjoy the pictures more. The look of the image is also different from different angles.
If we see pictures from close distances, we can see technical parameters, if we see from little more distance we can capture more of the photo. Of course if we check the lens technical quality we check the pics from close distances.

still a suberb lens, which can produce stunning results.
Nikon 105mm vr macro
The newer Nikon 105mm Vr macro
is quite a huge lens, but very sharp.
Nikon 180mm Af-D
A very underrated lens, with excellent sharpness, but the
old micromotor is perhaps not good enough to handle the
very think depth of field.

An excellent compact telephoto with excellent sharpness
even wide open.

The Nikon 70-210mm is an older lens.

Images with Tamron Dslr lenses
Tamron produce high quality usually very
competitive lenses for Canon, Nikon Dslr
cameras. Some of the new products are
very interesting for example the Tamron
150-600mm f/5-6.3 lens, or the new 90mm
Vc USD lens.
Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8
One of my favourite lens, exactly something I need.
Good sharpness and contrast, compact and relatively
affordable.
Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 Vc
A newer version is bigger and heavier, but not
as good optically, the difference is not huge though.
More expensive as well.
Tamron 90mm f/2.8 macro
Very sharp macro lens with older micromotor, the newer
versions has USM motor as well. Very sharp.
Tamron 180mm f/3.5 macro
Interesting macro lens with excellent optical quality,
very nice bokeh (this is where it is much better than
the 60,85,100mm versions), but the micromotor is sluggish.
Tamron 150-600mm f/5-6.3
One of the big hit in the market several year ago, real
600mm with very nice unprecedented quality at this price
point. Very sharp until 500mm. Usable at 600mm as well.

Canon and Nikon mount, but with some Chromatic aberration.
Tokina 16-28mm f/2.8
The Full frame brother with very good quality.
Image formats and processing
The Canon cameras makes images in Raw and jpg formats. The Nikon cameras makes images in jpg and NEF formats.
Basic image processing:
Cropping:
Cropping is the most used image processing. We can cut the ugly parts of the image or we can grab the details we want for different purposes.
Adjust curves: Programs like Photoshop or the free Gimp offers curves. In short we can change the lightness of the image to a preferred level.
Sharpening: There are usually two kinds of sharpening available: the normal sharpening and the unsharp mask. The unsharp mask gives better results for low quality images, because it gives some contrast enhancements as well.
Add contrast: If we change from compact cameras to Dslr cameras we can think the pictures made by the Dslr cameras is very soft (it depends on models). To adds some contrast even in camera can help.
